Where does this oil pressure gauge go?
« on: May 27, 2013, 09:55:36 PM »
I found this on eBay recently:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB350-CB400-CB500-CB550-Vintage-oil-pressure-gauge-in-original-box-/290919158232?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item43bc2211d8&nma=true&si=gctOQq24ud9OQCwKo%252BpSJTlUV18%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The instructions picture indicate that you should remove the "oil cap" from the right side of the engine and screw in the included adapter.  I searched my CB500 K0 but besides the oil dip stick, I didn't see anything that seemed to be what they're referring to.  I figured that if it used the dip stick, the instructions would use that language specifically.

I'm asking because I'm thinking of rigging up my own solution with the proper adapters.  Anyone done this?

Should go into an oil galley plug. On right side behind the cylinder..
