Cb550 spark plug socket
« on: May 27, 2013, 03:44:56 PM »
I found some old threads on this topic but nothing recent. Can someone link me to an 18mm socket that will decisively fit into the 2 and 3 cylinders to pull and replace the plugs? Thanks!

Hi, I was able to get mine from my local Honda motorcycle dealer recently.  $14 if I remember.  You might need to find the part number.

The 18mm spark plug socket that Sears sells (Craftsman #43330) has a thin wall and fits well.

ive been using a standard 18mm deep well plug socket from advance auto parts and have had no issues.  believe they said it was for an import of some kind
