The white lettering on those tires is a very nice touch against the blacked wheels. Looks meaty and vintage all in the same moment.

I am drooling over this build!

Did you do the lettering on the tires yourself?

Check marks are *sorta* growing on me too, but would have preferred what I asked for haha.  I'll try it out and see how I feel.

@Dagersh - Thanks!  Did the letters with a white paint marker.  Definitely requires a steady hand and a lot of patience.  I'm extremely near-sighted too, which helped, just took my glasses off for a macro view of the letters ha.  Definitely happy with the turnout, although a second coat is mandatory.

Great work.  What brand of paint marker?

I also think the checks look pretty cool.

You'll need to periodically re-apply the white paint on the letters.  I used it on the rear raised letters/numbers on my 750's Bridgestone Spitfire tire.

I was thinking I would have to every couple months.  How often have you had to reapply?

I didn't have to reapply for the three years it was stuck on static display at my last builder's shop, but once I started riding for a few hundred miles, it was pretty almost immediately ready for another coat.  When I cleaned the tires, I noticed that it had lost much of its brightness, from road dirt, brake dust, etc.
