.40 cal dust caps!

Saw a guy post this on instructables.com and made my own version for the K5 750.
Basically, a .40 Cal pistol casing will slide neatly over most dust caps on the tire valve stem. A bit of epoxy to hold it together and you have one bad ass looking wheel!
They look awesome, but not sure if this will go  over very well if trying to cross the border!

.45acp case will fix your carbs also,if you own a 750  :o

if you check over my old posts Ive got pics of the projects. Basically if you have a crack in the emulsion tube a .45 fits over it perfectly

Do you mean, if they are giving you trouble? :D

Actually, I'm gonna have to try this...I have 4 carb bodies with damaged emulsion tube mounts. Maybe next winter, after I'm done with my own...

That brass has some weight. Will the balance be thrown off?

Interesting thought, I have a balancer I'll run the wheel with and without a the brass dust cap and report back.
