Went to the dealer and ordered a new set of fibers for my '70 CB750. The 371 nuber had been superceeded, so part number 22201-MA7-000 showed up instead. They measure 151 mm OD, but the darn things won't slide past the ring around the outer basket. I measure my old ones and the whole stack is 148. My shop manual calls for 1 to be 148 and the rest to be 151. I've read a couple dozen threads about clutches, been to a world's fair, a picnic, and a rodeo and this is the darndest thing I've ever seen.
I tried them in a couple other baskets too, and they don't fit those either. What OD should the fiber disks be for an early K bike? I know the make-up of the stack changed but have not read about the OD changing.
