750 rebuild
« on: June 11, 2013, 05:52:32 AM »
have my fried top end 72 motor on bench.  gonna be doing the ebay 836 piston kit.  and either my spare F3 cam or a megacycle, not sure at this point... i also have the springs for the F3 cam allready that are still good.   Can someone please post pics of a proper squish band on one of these so i can show my machinist what i am talking about.
also has there been any word on the high volume oil pump yet?  i thought it was cycle X that was working on them, not sure.
this motor will be equipped with the hydraulic clutch system when done, just need a roughly 6x6 inch square of 1/2 inch aluminum and the master cylinder, i have block of 3/4 inch wood in place now and the stock K model kicker wont clear bottom corner.  the f model kicker has a sweeper curve on it that will let it clear when 1/2 is used.
