Hello from Arizona
« on: June 18, 2013, 06:38:26 PM »
Hey all. I just want to say hi. Havn't posted for awhile but now I have a reason.

Project is a K8.

Finally got the thing running after sitting in a corner for over 4 years. She's got a Character for sure. Going to fabricate my own rear fairing and seat assembly. Not going to run what came with it. Right just firing it up every day to get a heat cycle. I have 91 octane mixed with sea foam. Brand new battery. now time to fix a few little gremlins popping up.

Been lurking and reading hear. I am very impressed!!!

I am a competent fabricator and welder. Crappy speller. I really like to ride and had a crotch rocket back in 1996 during my college days. I just want something old school and cool. Plus, I like a challenge. If its not hard, its not fun.

Looking forward to this and the friends to come.
I do tasks the most difficult way. My life is interesting.

Welcome! Where in AZ are you? I'm near Prescott, there are a few members in the PHX area, and I believe one in Tucson, and one in BullHead City.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
