So I just finished restoring a CB 350 in line 2 cylinder for my wife. I'm seriously thinking of getting myself a classic historically significant matching early '70s CB750 for myself. I figured I'd lurk here for a while. Here's my project bike:

I've got my eyes peeled for that perfect old bike. With that perfect combination of price and cruddiness. The 350 was perfect. Cheap but good paint and upholstry and good compression. So needed work but not too much work. The 750's seem to be more expensive - I guess everyone thinks they have a treasured "cafe racer" on their hands.

yes, prices have really gone up over the last couple/few years, it seems.
