Any golfers out there?
« on: June 13, 2013, 10:56:25 PM »
There's a major on tv, and I just can't keep in the fact that rory mcilroy makes me sick, and the fact the Adam Scott won a major burns me to the bone, I feel like golf is looking for the next tiger woods and there just closing there eyes and pointing to the roster to find out who they promote. There doesn't need to be a new kid on the block if there isn't one ready yet. I say we just let people play golf and eventually someone is gonna come out and dominate, it could be me. But life is all about false prophecies and Phil's leading Merion, just like Sergio lead the players, see how I wrote a whole sentence out when I just as easily could have said joke. Perhaps I'm biased, but I have not seen good golf in a while.

I tried golf once but it didn't last long. The ball landed into a group of trees but rather than think of a proper way of getting the ball back onto the fairway I simply grabbed a driver out of the bag and swung like I was teeing off. It didn't work out that way, the ball ricocheted off a tree directly in front of me coming straight back at me almost taking my head off as it ripped by eventually landing much farther back than when I started. I decided right then and there to find something else to do with my free time. 8)

yup..................love it.

Just don't play as much, due to riding bikes.

Don't like driving cages, so, the only time I'm in a cage is when it's raining........

And, no, I refuse to get a trailer setup for the bike......my buddy in Virginia did that.

He rides a Goldwing, has a matching trailer.....looks nice, just not my cup of tee...!

If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

It's been a lot of years for me. Back in Indiana golf was seasonal but a lot cheaper. Out here in Arizona it becomes very expensive. Yeah, some good deals if you like 115 degree weather.  ::)

I heard an advertisement on the radio of a two week golf clinic. Wanted to check into that as a refresher would be nice. I took lessons for quite a while.

Still have my Ping Eye irons. You know, the yellow, white and black grips.  ;D

I remember paying $290.00 for the 2 thru PW for them.

Long ago huh?  ::)

Used to play in high school before I discovered beer and women and then it fell by the wayside on I discovered them.
I prefer disc golf these days over golf golf, way cheaper and more laid back people play it.
