I CAN CARRY STUFF!!!
« on: June 05, 2013, 06:35:31 PM »
after almost 2 years I finally found a bag that fits.  Pure coincidence - I was going through my closet and found a fly fishing gear bag from cabelas that I wasn't using.  Just happened to be the right color.  I zip tied one handle under the brake light mount and the other handle to the rear grab bar, and it actually fits just right so it's not squished but I can also open my seat.  So happy.  I can fit a pair of work shoes and slacks in there  and have 2 little side pockets for other little stuff.  Mesh pocket for shades/clears.... I'm so happy!

Gotta have a way to carry stuff on an everyday rider  ;) Pockets don't work for the big stuff. I use the nylon saddlebags from Tractor Supply that slip under my seat. Not sure how many times I have heard from friends "can you carry this ?" Call me the old pack mule.  :D

haha but really - i tried the backpack thing and it was distracting to me.  also, i don't like having to carry a backpack into every place i go.

So you are OK with people ripping your bags off your bike?

If they want a pair of gloves and some cheap safety shades that bad, and a couple bungee cords, I'm fine with it lol.

+1 to that big time.

My wife falls into that category (hot blondes that is) and I was telling her the exact same thing as we were getting ready to take the 750 out earlier today.  8)
