Wire spoke wheels
« on: June 06, 2013, 10:26:34 PM »
Will the front and rear wheel of a 1971 CB750K fit a 1978 Cb750F? I guess not now that I think about it. The 71 rear has a drum brake mech while the 78 has a disc brake set up. I guess I answered my own question.

With that said, does anyone have a set of wire spokes that will fit the 1978 F that ya want to sell?
OR
Can anyone recommend a place where I can pic up a set of new wire wheels on the cheap?

Just get a 78 K rear wheel and lace that up.

The '78 F uses Comstars not wires.

You need to find a rear from an earlier F bike when it was still wires. Cruise eBay or start a thread over in the wanted section.

The '78 is twin front disk right? The 75-77 GL1000 front, which is a twin disk wire wheel setup should be adaptable to your 750F.

Yes, I have the Comstars and I want wires. I'll look for the early F rear and front or the GL front.
Thanks for the response
