+1 on the shinkos.  Purchased the molds from Yokohama, as stated above, and when I was telling my friend that I bought my first one for my Goldwing and hoped they were alright, he told me that in the 90's that was all they ran at the drag strip.  I'm guessing that means Shinko does alright with the compound.  I've got over 1000 miles on mine, still looks new and have never had any complaint.   I have ridden them hard.

I also vote shiniko...I had a set on my 2002 triumph Daytona 955i. Held great for a few thousand miles with great traction through the twisties even with 145hp.
