Photo of the week
« on: June 07, 2013, 04:00:59 pm »
I made photo of the week for one of the places that takes pictures at the Dragon/Deals Gap.   I am at the bottom on the right on the CB.  Vote early and often for me.

I got you covered. Yours definitely has the most class. Don't know that I would trailer anything or ride with bags there....to each his own I guess... Hope you had a blast. Bike looks great out there.

hahahaha

Went on my F2 once... That was enough for me... Too many damned crazies out there. I had fun, when I wasn't being passed by arrogant jerks. There are a few other roads I chose to frequent instead that were less "known" therefore less packed....

About 2 or 3 decades ago I found this road by accident on the family vacation pulling a 27 ft. travel trailer not fun. :o The bike was :)

Yes there is lots of stupid there.  I make my runs early in the morning before most people are up.  Friday and Saturdays I pretty much avoid it.  There are many many other amazing roads to ride in the area.

agreed. I went mid summer, saturday,
one year.... swore I'd never go back.
I have spent time in so-cal, Upstate NY, Lower PA and Far North Idaho.... All have amazing, roads and besides So-Cal, much less people, and less of a chance for a visit from Johnny-Law.

Earlier today when I voted on my tablet it was in the 160 range for your bike and the blue old Vette was in the 120s. Now you are in the 228 range when I voted from home on the desktop...blue vette trails at 138...
So, unless the Vette owner has a community to push them up past you, then they are setup for the fail.

Site info at the top indicates if vote stuffing is suspected it will result in the voting results being reset.
Different front runner now as a result of the reset...

Thanks for the votes everybody.  FYI the warning about resetting the votes at the top was because two years ago someone wrote a script to automatically vote for their bike.  Dave (the owner) noticed it pretty quickly and killed it.

Thanks to your votes I won.  The pictures have been changed which is why it may appear that votes have been reset.

I did see the vette/flying biker.  There was a big story on it and if I remember correctly the biker blew the corner and hit the vette.  While I was there I saw a Fiero hit the hill and a Porsche partially climb a hill and come slamming back down to the road.

Since they reset it here is the pic.  What I like is that the pic was taken on the very first ride up the Dragon.  I was taking it pretty easy to feel how things were going to go.

I also made Killboys highlight page

Funny thing I noticed about both pics is that I forgot to turn on the headlight.  Oops

Nice shots and congrats again. Matt and frame that puppy.
Figured from the tire marks on the road the bike crossed over and hit the vette.
Glad you had a positive experience.
What is your paint scheme for the bike going to look like?
