So a friend of mine stopped by yesterday and I was curious to see what he thought about my bike as he used to ride. He looked at it and said I think u would b better off building a buggy or something. U can buy these for 500 all day. I don't know why u didn't just buy a rocket. I was like what the f*€#.
I quess he doesn't see the point.
I had another Harley chopper guy stop on Thursday who rides a twisted girder front end 78 sporty. He was pretty impressed.
I got all my spacers cut for my Swingarm. Getting some time today to work on it.

So I've got some more done. The Swingarm is all mocked in with the spacers ready to weld in. I made shock brackets tha r ready to weld on as well.
I got my pods and they just rubbed on the frame. So alittle BFH and some sanding they fit like it was made that way.
I got my seat taillight done. I'm gonna lengthen the tank about 4 inches to meat the seat in its furthest spot back in the pick. I'm gonna build my sissy bar later hopefelluy that will tie in the rear of the frame

i had to cut into my tank again to afd my new gad cap. I finished up my frame Bob job I think. I might build a bigger sissy bar off the top of it maybe. I really like the new seat I built and the way the bike feels sitting on it now. I need to decide wether or not to extend the swing arm a couple inches before I have it welded up. Wouldn't be that hard at this point. Thought I had the tail light figured out but I'm digging the clean look it had now. So might mount a low single light with plate light on Swingarm.
Who knows. I've built this bike so many times in my head and on paper it's sickning but that's half the fun. I know it prob wont end up a bagger. Although a fairing on the other hand hmmm

So I got my exhaust header/manifold mostly done. I didn't like the way the 4-1 hung down below the bike and it was all smashed Ina's proof it was to low. So I got the sawzall out and made an exhaust that is tucked in and on the side. I like the way it's turned out so far. I realize it won't flow like a yoshi but should b ok for the money I got into it.

Got some 900 pistons and rings to put in so I've made my decision to rebuild and bore. I got a line on some 900 cams as well but letting the guy sswett it out a couple more weeks then reoffer. If not ebay.
