wiring aftermarket starter solenoid
« on: June 12, 2013, 01:31:05 pm »
I bought an aftermarket starter solenoid, that came with different colour coded wires.
I know that the two main posts can be hooked up to battery and starter motor independently, but what about the wires? is there going to be a difference if one is connected to fuse or starter button?

thanks!

It probably has a yellow/red and a yellow/green?  Run the red wire to th starter button and the green to the fuse block.
