Hello from beautiful Athens, GA
« on: June 11, 2013, 07:58:17 AM »
Hello everybody. Found my 73 CB750 K3 in an old Georgia countryside barn/garage last year. I have since hawked the forum just about everyday as a guest. All of the old posts I searched through were so helpful in getting her back on the road that I figured I owed it to the forum to join. Seriously, the info on here is invaluable. Y'all (and some local mechanics) guided a ham-fisted idiot like me through a carb rebuild, a seized front piston in the caliper, a bar swap, some minor electrical demons and, most importantly, disconnecting that annoying turn signal buzzer ;D. Thanks to everyone who runs this place and offers helpful advice. Once I get in my newbie 5 posts I'll put up a few pics.

Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately, pipes are shot and of course I need new tires but overall it's amazing how bulletproof these bikes are.

Welcome aboard, I'm very partial to K3's... ;) Post up some more pics. I bought my used 4 into 4's from KC Northstar (member here) off of eBay for 450.00 bucks last year. Sold my old Jardine pipes for 200 and my net cost was 250 bucks for the pipes. Keep your eye on the for sale section of this site and on eBay, CraigsList etc....deals can be had.
