The Petcock on my cb400f is leaking from the face plate that holds the knob and tapered plug in place. I just "rebuild" this thing by taking apart, ultrasonic cleaned and scotchbrited the aluminum taper of the housing because it looked gunky. The plastic tapered plug valve looked good so I did nothing to that and installed . Now it leaks!! Any advise? Source of replacement parts? Maybe Try a stiffer spring?
