Alright minor update! My Honda petcock came today and wow. Always spend the extra on a genuine quality petcock. From first glance you could tell its quality over the Alfa I had been sent before. Hooked it up and no leaks at all. That Alfa was like trying to hold back the ocean with a broom!  :o

Could not agree more. Ha! Same thing happened to me.

Small update: I started hacking on that old seat pan again. The plan was to shorten the whole bike back to the arch and make the seat angle flush with the arch in the back to give it a uniform look. By shortening everything the seat was very wide at that point and I thought it just looked awkward. So I cut triangles out to get the angles right and I will weld the gap back closed now that the lines are right. Then sand blast the whole thing and paint it. Then I'll start shaping the seat foam to angle into the frame the same way. I got this idea from the way the seat is on newer crotch rockets, to help give perspective.
Basically mixing a 76 and 78 cb750k. I'm probably pissing off all the purists but at least I'm happy when I throw my leg over her.

I know I'm behind on updating this and probably will get caught up with pics tomorrow, but I'm happy to say I've been too busy riding my bike to mess with the internet! haha It still needs a few adjustments but tonight I took it for a ride for about a half hour with a little bit of town and highway riding. That moment when you take off down the road on something you spent the past couple months building is almost bone chilling.  ;D
