Tensioner screw no longer spring loaded
« on: September 03, 2013, 04:13:24 PM »
So, after getting the top end completely reassembled, I realized I forgot the oring on cam chain tensioner. In taking off the nut, I realized that the screw would not turn and pop back into place. I can turn it, but it just sits there. Is there ANYTHING I can do without taking everything apart again? Just the thought makes me want to cry.

What bike?  In my case I am working on the CB750 and you can take off the three screws and pull the chain tensioner assembly off the back of the engine, I must be missing something.
