ok maybe the driver should have stopped, but the guy did overtake on double lines..... i dont care 'IF' his brakes 'may' have failed, the fact still remains, he over took in a place he shoudlnt have, , and the other fact is , the other guy just narrowly missed the same fate!!!!!!, there was no failure, other than over taking on double lines, , into a blind corner..... sorry, thats just dumb....
yes the drive should have stopped, but at least he was doin the right thing.... dont get me wrong, i am not a big cager fan myself, after getting hit by one that failed to use and indecator, but you really cant blame the guys for callin him an idiot?, can you???... everyday we take our lives into our own hands, when we get onto a bike, we have to have eyes everywhere, we need to look for potential problems, we DONT need to create problems..... that was a creation of a problem, and the sad fact remains that he paid for the decision he made.... alot of us dont have the luxury of those decisions, they get made for us, and we are usually the un willing recipients of the consequences....
biking is dangerous enough, without making it more dangerous..... they are both at fault, but who was more at fault falls directly on the biker.... sorry....
peace
