Is it just me or do both of those 550s have the front tire direction of rotation reversed?

Is it just me or do both of those 550s have the front tire direction of rotation reversed? 

It's a universal tyre that can be fitted on either wheel. The important factor is following the directional markings on the side wall. Although both wheels turn in the same direction, the forces (acceleration on rear and braking on the front) dictate which way round the tyre must be fitted.

Cangrats Mr Moore, well deserved but I was shocked at such wide spread voting.
I thought the results would have been much closer as all bikes were a credit to their builders.

Don't  know but some of the race guys reverse the direction especially if they don't like it mounted properly.  Some say certain tires were better backwards.

Some people don't wear the recommended clothing when riding their bikes, it's their choice.

I plan to take it to Pomona. I had it in a show yesterday and took second. At least this time I lost to another cafe racer and not a trail 70.  some very nice bikes were there. I'll post pics in the inspiration gallery when I get home.

Fairplex - Grand National Roadster Show. It's were ffj and I meet up when I showed my 550.  Got a 2nd in the Vintage Sport Bike class, maybe he'll do better.
