So, have you completed the wiring or is that still on the "to do" list.  I'm chomping at the bit to see it complete!

Finally got her buttoned up. Did around e0 miles today. Super smooth shifting. Loud as hell and an overall blast. Of course I need to sync the carbs but so far so good. I pull into the garage to see oil all over the base gasket and the lower engine. I was pissed. Went inside to cool for a minute then walked out to wipe it down. Of course I found the issue. While adjusting the cam tensioner I guess I didn't tighten the nut. Easy fix. Can I use any nut and washer? Didn't it have an o ring?

Here is a pic for Stev-o. I know he loves my garage pics throughout the years so I figure I get one on a back road.

I have a video of its first start up. Downloaded on Google drive. I can't post it on here through that.

Actually, you can put it in a folder on your Google Drive and share that folder out with everyone.  Once you do that, get the URL to that shared folder and then come into here and use the "Insert Hyperlink" button to link it.  That button is the 3rd from the left on the bottom row.

Nick...you don't look to have any more room between the fender and header than I do but mine hits the header. What springs are you running and what weight oil? Bike looks great.

The Cb has about 100 percent more miles this week than the VFR. My brother continues to ride it daily. The VFR stays in the garage while we remodel the bathroom, put a new roof on and the installation of an egress window that all will be completed by July 6th. I did have to take a mulligan for yesterday as my legs and back weren't up to par. Not to mention this nasty nasty arthritis in both hips.

In regard to the 550 my brother loves it. Almost to much. I got a text from him saying a few people want to buy it where he lives. my response was" Don't let anyone even sit on the bike!" and of course i ended to conversation with, " why wouldn't they? Its a badass bike."

Mains are at 105. Everything else is back to stock settings in regard to needles, slow, however I am at 1.5 turns. I think thats what I ended at. I actually rode this yesterday as my brother was in town with it. The bike idles and runs great. I am more impressed with how smooth I have the bike running at idle. The idle will sit and purrrrrrrr at just under 1k.
