750 K1 control
« on: June 15, 2013, 04:29:44 PM »
Last week I was warning on coming traffic of a cop taking radar with my bike. I ended up breaking the little nipple that changes from Off/Low/High. I took it apart the other day and used a screw driver to push it over to high.. once I did that I realized the lights in the gauges won't work.  I went through all plug ins and everything is good. The jewels light up. Could this be due to my RH control being jacked?

I do have one on the way from Bill and will see if that fixes it.

Not quite sure.  I do know that fast orange or maybe fine lapping compound can be used to clean electrical contact on controls.  squirt some in there move the control back and forth.  Spray with contact cleaner, blow out with compressed air.  Did if to fix the high / low beam on two controls now.
