A touch over 3 grand Terry, very tempting.....

3 Grand? Jeez, buy it Mick, you need a bike that you can ride! ;D

Evening Terry - I love your wang.

Evening Retro - buy it!

At three grand it's a good bike.

Probably almost a bit impressive too.

Oh excuse me - a very good evening to all thread contributors and onlookers.

And by the way - today I received the parts required to make my CB450 into the most impressive bike ever built with crap stock carbies.

Very nice Cliff, hey I'm about to receive a Mikuni 2 carb setup for my CB750 very shortly, we should have a race between my impressive CB750 Cafe Racer and your impressive CB450 Cafe Racer. I wonder who would have the fastest 0-60 time?

How's your impressive little Triumph going, has it been repaired yet? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

you missed the ride of your life then Mick. sort of miss the tension of the last couple of years. bank balance and beer gut could do with some rest tho.

You are on!

We can settle the "which is more impressive bike" argument on your favourite stretch of road up north.

The impressive TT600 is getting a new sump then it is back on the road.

And Fenders - I am enjoying your CB450 restoration thread over at the Honda twins forum - thanks.

The twin turbo prop plane ride into gale force winds out of Wellington the week before was the ride of my life mate, thought we were going to drop out of the bloody sky... :o   Would have been interesting to experience the shake but would have been a b1tch being stuck in Wellington, what a cold windy rainy place it is.... ;D ;)

Okey Dokey, it's a race! Is the sump on your triumph a bolt on deal? ;D

Yep - a bolt on sump, how impressive is that?.

Lucky me - it could have been a busted lower crankcase otherwise.

Which is in fact what would have happened if I had been on the CB450...

Yep, those Triumph's are very impressive bikes, for sure. You better be careful when you're parking your 450 under the ol' firehouse Cliff! ;D

Probably one of the better places to park a CB450 - in a fire station.

Ha ha, hey did you know that you can buy a "Left" and "Right" Mikuni carb Cliff? Makes 'em much easier to adjust. ;D

Read up on the Bandits a little. Been looking for one myself and there were a couple years 2000-2001, if I remember, where Suzuki made a little boo boo with the piston rings and some examples may smoke and burn excessive oil. Not impressive if you get one of those.

I just can't fall in love with the Bandits...I looked at buying one a couple of years ago, rode one etc, but just wasn't impressed by it. But those that own them love them.
Anyway, we all know CB1100R's are the most impressive bikes ever, so there's no point continuing the discussion............. ::) :o
