Cb900 coils on cb550.... But what plugs?

What spark plugs should I use? Have d7ea right now with an airbox set up and 100/40 jets.... Plugs a little sooty

Are the plugs sooty and black after a long ride ,or just from sitting and running at idle. I wouldn't go any hotter on PLUG number, you may try backing the AIR screws OUT about 1/8 turn.

Going to turn the screws a half turn out as they are the ones with holes in them :/ .....hope it helps
