plug leads
« on: June 17, 2013, 11:33:08 PM »
Hi, I have bought a set of Taylor plug leads for my CR750 lookalike, these leads have the fibre threads in the centre, rather than the copper wire, my question is, do you use the same end connectors for the coils, or is there a connector with a spike that goes down into the cable, to make a good connection to the lead, I am using Boyer coils,

Trick I've used is to strip the insulation back (carefully so you don't cut any of the core) so there is enough to fold back on the outside under the connector.  Then crimp the connector on over the folded back core.
