Just wanted to say thanks for all the info and replays I got so far.
Working on my CB550F 1976
Struggling with carbs at the moment  :'(
Hope to get bike on the road this summer....

Welcome!  There is a lot of information about carb rebuilding and tuning here on the forum - I think you'll have no trouble finding all the help you need. :)

It is a hard work to get relevant info, mind you it is much easier then learning on own mistakes...

hey and velkome...most kaburator problems start in the fuel tank...fine rust can not be filteret and vent down..and make fun..,,,..
i vaste the first seson ,,,pulling on and off... kaburettors..then bayed a rust free tank..and all problems vas gone...have run for 2 years now..no leakes..

i kan not speak english/but trying!!

One thing which is OK on my bike is inside of the tank...
I started on carbs, got 5L of degreaser on cleaned crap form outside.
Have to wait until Saturday as work is getting in the way...  ;D

I'm looking for a detailed carb rebuild thread, is there one?

Registration module is available, but immediately reports a problem that says I am a spammer.... :(

"Rock" came up with over 1000 hits on the spammer database. Not you, but hundreds of them with "rock" in the username.

I've sent you a personal (manual) registration - how's that for service.

Bike is (was) on the road, front calliper fell off...

Can't thank enough for info and encouragement, carbs where so easy to clean after weeks of reading.
Got few issues but bike is legal starts stops and I'm very happy with it!
