The manual for my 1971 cb750 says I need 7-7.5 oz of oil per fork but the supplement to the manual days I need 5.3-5.5.

My question is which is correct and how bad is it if you get it incorrect? Thanks!

I went with the supplement thinking it was done AFTER the manual. Just wondering if I need to put more oil in.

In my experience Honda's supplements are for later model years that are serviced similarly as the "main procedure" but have slightly different specs (like oil amounts), so see if you can find any indication that it might apply to a different year than your bike.
