I found this in a pile of old wrenches I got in an Equipto cabinet. I use it to change my change gears in my lathe.

Bought this house in Vermont from a slob (messy person). Anyways, apparently whenever he would get pissed he'd throw the tool away on the back lawn, front lawn and in the woods. Found many Craftsman (9-12 various) tools buried the first time I cut the grass which did a number on the lawnmower blade. I cleaned them up enough so you could read "Craftsman" , turned them in to the nearest Sears store and received new pliers , wrenches, and a few screwdrivers.

They’re only worth like $4 and I think the new F150 is like $7 so might not be worth it.

New F150 has a lawsuit about Ford falsifying the fuel economy numbers for the estimated city and highway numbers. They knowingly inflated the numbers is the claim. Same bunch of shysters who sued VW over their diesel fiasco is suing Ford.

Many of them are ford tools, a couple IH. I realized the sockets are also ford so I dug them back out of the scrap bin. This is about half of them. Several flathead valve tools. In the left drawer is a ford lug wrench/engine crank. The top right are Flathead valve spring and keeper tools.

I'm late getting here but I wanted to show you all one of the first tools I ever got for myself 50+ years ago. It has served me well. It has NEVER missed loosening any 6mm philips head on my CB or anybody else's. My motor has been apart three times and I have not had to replace ANY phillips screws for knackered heads.
PowrKraft is/was the house brand for Montgomery Wards. Both brands are extinct now AFAIK. We had a Wards store near the house. I can't remember the impacts purchase, but I expect it came from there. I don't know if the #3 bit was included, but I think not.

I am also using PowrKraft wrenches and screwdriver I bought about 45 years ago at the Montgomery wards in Southgate, MI. Also the Riverside battery chargers I bought there.

I have an adjustable Ford wrench I carried in my plumbing service tool pouch for years. Right now, I'm wondering where it is.

My dad bought a battery charger at Kmart in 1980, did a fine job of recharging the max battery last week
Over the years I've used it to check electric circuits, test starter motors and even run the exhaust fan on an airbrushing spray booth

a lot of that old kmart junk was good!first rifle I bought was a semi auto .22 from kmart "stirling".

The old stirling model 20. My cousin had one, I got the bolt action version then the 22 magnum.

I think the bolt action Stirling's have around even longer than that Ken.
My uncle Norm and my father taught me to use a rifle with on when I was ten.
So that would make it a good fifty years ago.
They told me they used it to shoot crows during lambing season back on the family farm when they where kids.
They must have shot an awful lot of crows because they where both exceptional marksmen.
Unfortunately it was not a skill they managed to pass on to me

from memory they had small bore rifles, shotguns and air rifles as well as all the ammo, no licence required in those days

Were allowed to have a bit of fun back then.
Back in the day in the paddock there was a white HT and a green HQ.
Wouldn't have minded $1 per bullet hole. Literally thousands.
They would have made Bonny and Clydes car look mint.

My first gun was a Harrington and Richardson 16 ga single shot shotgun given to me by my parents for Christmas after my 16th BDay. It was purchased from Kmart. Still have it. Used to get my hunting licence from KMart after that. Lots of good memories hunting rabbit and squirrel with my dad and grandfather.

My old man got them for me , im sure he showed his license too. . I was only 12 or 13. From memory my 12 gauge was a kmart eley single barrel.
After i cut the barrel down from 30"to 18" and threw solids in it my world record was 6 shots before my shoulder couldn't take any more. Very expensive from memory only came in packets of 5.

My 12th birthday present from my dad was a J.C. Higgins model 41 single shot bolt action .22. 58 years later I still have it.

Still my favourite Honda tool. +45 years old now, so I gave them a serious clean up a few months ago. I prefer to use my Motion Pro “sticks”, but theses are better looking!
