Topic: Manufacturers Cup race at VMP this weekend

Well, we'll be heading to Dinwiddie, Va for the Man Cup race at VMP early morning. I won't be on my SOHC just yet but Dusterdude from the forum plans to come by and support us. Will keep you guys posted.

Hung out with frank and gladys for a while this evening,frank is running crazy 8's and top gas,he was a little too quick in both his qualifying runs,better luck tomorrow frank see ya'll in the next day or two

Well the weather won this round,rained like a big dog yesterday and the swamp the track is built on decided it wanted to seep water thru the track,the race was called around 230 this afternoon.had a good time hanging with frank,gladys and their crew.frank,we'll try it again sometime,have a safe trip home

Perhaps as well that I couldn't find a suitable flight Mark. What a waste that would have been.

Weekend was a big waste of time as far as racing goes. You could call it a 2 day test session. Like Mark stated, once the rain came, the track became useless for dragraing. Water continually seeped through the concrete even after the track surface was dry.

I've got some detuning to do on both bikes to slow them down for the index. Will try testing at Darlington Dragway wednesday and go racing this weekend at Rockingham.
