Where did that thread go?!
« on: June 20, 2013, 05:53:32 PM »
Hey all. New to the board and need some help finding a build thread. It had all the tech and links I need for exactly what I been wanting to do with mine for a long time. Let me try to describe it:

Build based on a 1978 K8.
He used more modern front forks, wheels, brake system from a 1988 Katana (I think it was a 1988 donor bike?)
Did the big bore kit
Chassis was powdercoat silver.
fairings was a cherry red with a black racing stripe.
Used the speedo guage from the Katana.
Lots of custom machine work on small pieces.

Please help!

This guy built his bike like he was reading my mind years ago. Very bad ass in my book.

Any one?
