Topic: anyone ever heard of these tires? ok or not ok

these are duro tires

I live at the end of a very long gravel road so i wouldn't mind some duro tires..so long as i dont sacrifice daily driving on the street.

let me know what you guys have heard about them...im a chicken stripe kind of rider, i don't push it in the twisties. I mostly just enjoy my daily commute on a bike and occasionally a highway run.  I don't want something that will scare me at 70mph on the freeway when i'm going around gradual turns.

To be honest Id get Dunlop K70s - these are similar tread but good on gravel/dirt roads as well as the highway and sticky enough on the twisties. Same price as the ones you show. Mileage on mine was not that great but I had sustained high speed riding and this may have been a factor.

I'd find out if they're made out of Chinesium before buying. I have K70's on my 750. I think they'd do the trick for you.

That would be the HWA Fong company...out of Taiwan.

I think they have plants in Taiwan, china, and Thailand.

I have no idea where those tires were produced.

You've lost me there Tim...?    Besides, i have never seen a Chinese tire of any sort that was "too sticky"

I've seen people crash on cheap, hard or poorly made tires.

I think you may have read something into my post Tim, the monkey peanuts thing means, that you buy cheap tires and you get "cheap"tires, I'm a suspension nazi and only by the best tires and suspension parts that fit my bikes,  so your preaching to the converted here mate  ....

+4 on the Dunlop K70's.    Like you, the road we live on is gravel.  It is almost 2 miles to the black top.  I have a K70 on
the rear and it is really great traction on gravel and  handles exceptionally well on paved roads. It only costs a little
more to use quality tires.
