CB750 Case assembly questions
« on: June 26, 2013, 03:29:00 PM »
Getting ready to put my engine back together and had a couple of questions regarding the case.

1. I am assuming you just brush on a thin layer of sealant (3 bond) on both case halves ?

2. Some of my bolts were a little corroded. I cleaned them up on a wire wheel but looks like some of the plating is gone. So, I'm wondering if I can assemble the cases  using the bolts I have and then replace them one at a time when the new bolts arrive. Reason for the rush is that my family is out of town so I have a good couple of days to work uninterrupted!

Ha! Thats why I'm asking. Maybe I read that on the 3 bond packaging or maybe in Hondaman's book. So your saying just apply to one side and call it good?
