I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

I think old world stuff should be left in the old world, not transfered to the new world.
Because if you think about it, we as immigrants all have had something happen to our fore bearers other wise we'd still be back in the old country and I further think we should demand that the old hostilities stay out of our new country.

I have to plead ignorance about the significance of the parade and date. I know the Sands story as we studied it during my U S Bureau of Prisons Career.  It is one of the reasons U S inmates are not allowed to starve themselves.  Miss 4 meals and we forcibly feed the inmate.  It is a messy and violent affair that usually convinced the inmate to eat after a few feedings/fights.  We started showing inmates who would not eat a video of a feeding session to let them know what to expect .  Often the inmate ate voluntarily after seeing the tape.  There was also the Big Mac trick but space is short.
