75 CB750 in Utah
« on: June 24, 2013, 05:20:10 PM »
Hey all,

Just picked up a new (to me) 75 CB750 a few weeks ago and am having a blast. It's mostly stock, with clubman bars on it. I suspect something has been done to the motor, but until I tear it down this winter I won't know for sure. I put a stock clutch in it, and it would slip as soon as it got on the cam. Put the longer springs back in and it's good to go again.

I've got a long history of racing aircooled VW's, but am taking a break from them for the time being and playing with this bike now. I am really enjoying it. Similar, but different. New to motorcycles, but not to mechanics.

Hoping to learn a great deal from this forum!

Eric

Here's my bike:

I have another 75 CB750 that is a project bike. I plan on doing that one up a bit and learn on it while I enjoy riding the orange one.

I don't think curemode has GZ yet. Looks like he can still get in on it.
