cb750K0 value
« on: May 30, 2013, 07:46:42 AM »
I try to find a approximative value for a cb750ko,Built in march 1970.approx 7000 miles original. There is nothing as a reference on ebay now.A customer have one and I will help him to sell the bike.Bike is immaculate, new exhaust and seat been installed in 1975 and never seen road, been stored in a dry basement until last year.Paint (candy ruby red)and chrome been done, tire are new, carb are 71+ model but original 4 cable (new in 1975 too) are included.EVERYTHING is perfect,a real museum quality.Just try to have a price range. Thanks!

On ebay probably 15 to 20k.

You will need to get the serials from both the frame and the engine as it is relevant to K0, even if not sandcast, the lower the better.

Is it a wrinkle tank?

Yup, people will still want to know the numbers and it is relevant to the value.  The closer to sandcast range the better, certain parts are still associated with sandcast bikes.

I see all red foam in that seat...nice.  Are the pipes stamped 'HM300'?

Use the advanced search option on eBay and it will let you search completed listings, so you can see what similar bikes have sold for.

Finally I bought the bike.My customer didn't want to be in the deal and try to sell it on ebay,I finally buy it and I will check what to do with it.The bike is in unbelivable condition.I have already a huge collection,I will probably give a try on ebay and see what happen. Here in quebec the is just no market for a vintage bike of this price.

I agree.  My sandcast project may be slow going, but the slower I go the more it will be worth when I'm done ;D

yes running condition, i know its a die cast. but i am wondering since its only 2 thousand away from the sand cast numbers. If it's a worth while for me to get it a bike built around it.

It is worth building a bike if you can find a close number frame. But even with any KO frame, it would be cool. Hard to put a value on it  without having a bunch of KO parts already. If its reasonable..grab it..
