Honda 919
« on: June 28, 2013, 08:40:45 PM »
i've been neglecting my 2005 Honda 919 in favor of my recently purchased 750 K3. i took the 919 for a ride last night and oh boy!! after a month or two on the cb750, it's hard to believe the 919 is even the same type of vehicle. it was never meant to be a "fast" bike, but the 94 horsepower that gets to the rear wheel (dyno certified) is just ridiculous. i know there's a lot more powerful stuff out there, but to jump on this thing after riding around on the 50ish hp (if i'm lucky) 750 really shows you how far we've come. i bought this bike because i don't really like the looks or ergonomics of the sportbikes. it's a motor and a cycle. perfect. the 750 is still way cooler, but i think in 40 years, the 919 might be pretty cool.

came out from having a coke and found this once:

yeah, they're renthal highs with bar backs. i have back problems. i just took the bar backs off today, to see how my back does, but i haven't tried it without them yet. the bars are about the same height as stock, but the stockers bent my wrists at a weird angle.

That is sweet. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
