Lock for 78 CB550 Fuel Tank

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a lock for the fuel door on my 78 CB550. I can't seem to find one. Will a lock from another bike work? Like a 1977 cj360? Can I just swap the complete door?

Are you missing the lock? Any key will work for the gas lid locks

I am missing the lock. I may start buying ones from different models and hope it fits.

I ended up finding a brand new one on Ebay. It was the only one, other than a few used ones that I would of had to buy the complete tank.
