Hip and shoulder injuries, all soft tissue, I am at 80% recovery I would say. Full gear.

Uninsured motorist, so kinda sucky for getting money out of them for repairs.

Frame is not bent, but there is a tear in the floorboard that means repair is not reasonable.

I am keeping the engine for now, may end up selling it.

One option is to build up a frame I can get pretty cheap. A much more desirable vintage, a 67 Super Sport 180. P200 engine goes right in, just need to use the right wiring loom which is pre made.

Sooo.... found a bloke that works on antique tractors , a real "thing" here in the Sacramento Valley. Go figure.  ;D

Same sort of issues as the Vespa on these tractors, similar steel and repairs have to be near perfect as there is no where to hide dings with bondo on the exposed panels. He does lots of 20's and 30's cars as well.

So he says no problem on fixing and painting up the P200. It is going to the shop next week to start work. =)

I am painting it Candy Jade Green to match the CB550, and doing the paint on the CB at the same time. Very reasonable extra $200 to prep and shoot tank and side covers.

Oh, and a good use for crazy Craiglist pricing? Convincing the insurer the Vespa is worth $3800, and getting enough to fix the bike without a salvage title!
