go on fleabay and find the cheapest emgo.

but like mentioned change out the rubber tubes they are #$%*.

the guages work great and honestly..... the morgan and pro motion is wayyyy to expensive...... how many times do you think you are going to use these things? i have maybe used them twice in 2 years.

got my emgos for like 60ish shipped

...another point for Morgan Carbtune...they work flawlessly and effortlessly, so if you work on a lot of multi's, they are well worth the $120. Chewie, I built my own manometer too, and could never get it to work right...one cylinder would always start sucking up all the two-stroke oil no matter how fast I tried to adjust.

Hey I was just looking on ebay and could not find this set of carb syncs you were talking about from Barracuda. I did find the Saber Cycle website, but they wanted 79 dollars for the kit, and until s&h/sales tax it was about 90$. Also the emgo set looks like its up to about 100 dollars.

If I read correctly the morgan carbtune is about £60 (89$ currently). So its hard to say for me which would seem like a better deal between the morgan carbtune and the emgo since the emgo are more pricey atm.

This is the cheapest 4 carb sync that I could find on ebay at the moment. Does it look like a good set? 58.50$ plus 12.50$ shipping. I'm buying a 78 cb550 that will definitely need a carb sync. I have to do some asking around to find out if anyone I know has one I can just borrow before buying this though.

Dagne. Saber cycle is the seller. They include the motion pro carb sync tool in the kit. Makes it cheaper than buying the tool and paying for shipping separately...

My set gets used often. Still rocks.

Got an extra 15 minutes watch the motion pro video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nwP6R1P58A same concept. All the valves need to be closed and calibrated to a common vacuum source. The have a "manifold" to calibrate. Sure the fluid works, but not as easy as a compact gauge.

Morgan doesn't need any calibration and I think that's the appeal of it over Motion Pro. It's easy, calibration/worry-free, works perfectly, and the smallest.

Yet, like many others said, get the cheapest dial gauges. They work equally well and you'd probably accidentally break them before they need calibration anyway. Make sure that they come with the right plug though!

I purchased a set made in Germany for PCCC back in the early 90's when I was going full time,they have built-in dampeners & have served me well for many years.I can't seem to find anything on them anymore so I'm not sure they're still available.

I made a Manometer with the vinyl tubing zip tied to a yard stick. It took a little playing around but ATF works good for the fluid and .030" mig welding tips inserted in the tubes work great to dampen the pulses. when i finally get the 750 done i plan to make a nice one that will work with the 4 cylinder from my current 450 twin setup,

I agree with all said above... and in light of all that, I have a once-used MotionPro 4-tube synchronizer that I'm gonna sell.

I carefully folllowed the directions and even rolling out of the throttle SLOWLY it sucked the juice into the intakes.

It's a pain... but maybe someone else is better at this than I.

Gonna let em go cheap.

PM me. I think I might even have their little refill kit (unused) around here somewhere.

Wish you would've posted that sooner, I'd have bought them as on advice of a local bike shop I bought a new set of the motionpro gauges, if I have troubles he will show me how it's done, all he uses. If I absolutely hate them I will buy smog next then if I don't like them ill go Morgan carbtune, that way I can test them all out

I have a set as well but have not used them yet. Let us know what happens, or better yet, video tape yourself doing exactly what they do in the videos to see if it still sucks it up. maybe you can get them to refund you the money since they will see you doing it exactly as they say. Who knows though, kinda pissed I bought them. . .

I'm curious if those carb. styx(mercury filled tubes)have built in dampeners ?
I'd imagine it'd make them a lot less sensitive...

Got it delivered today and used it, no problems at all with it sucking fluid in, had bike up to 4000 rpm with no issues, gauge is plenty easy to use, I'll try to do a video tomorrow

Oh and I did this after the tornado went thru town

I couldn't tell she was surging like she was but I want to do another test run first before I call it good, they were real close when I first hooked them up but I spent twentyish minutes fine tuning anyways and just fiddling to watch the difference in minor adjustments on one and what it would do to the hole idle
