Ca200 motors are very low power and not easy to get parts for is my understanding. They are not a ohc design.

Not a CA200 David. Deal feel through anyway. Guy couldn't show it yesterday so we move on.

The CL is in fact a CB on the frame. It's missing both side covers and exhaust baffles. Needs tires. Runs like a Swiss watch. Comes with complete front fork, tree and disc brake setup.

Greggo, PM me a price on the covers. I have an option to purchase so trying to come up with a number.

I think it's worth buying. Corky just needs to make a couple of bucks for time/fuel.

Past Reno.  ;) The seller could not meet Corky yesterday so move on. He would of bought it I'm sure.

Why not my style? I think it looks pretty good. Depends on price however.

What do you think on a price for the CL/CB 360 Steve-o? Corky found it and has time/fuel costs. I'm thinking around $750.

Wouldn't take much to make that black bike stock again, doesn't look to be cut up.... Get rid of that bondo filled tank and tail piece and stick stock tank, seat and covers on it and it would once again look good.... ;D ;)

The ad states Benji tank and seat. What ever that is.

Yeah, get rid of the Eagle also. Probably pass unless I can buy it for under 2K.

The seller had a CB360 and a CL360. He used the parts you see in picture on the CB360. So, it IS a CB360 with CL exhaust, seat and tank.

This model had issues you say? I could probably get it for $750.00. Not on my "want" list but a running, titled bike.

The 350/360 had/has quite a bit of buzz/vibration in the handlebars.
I would think a nice running bike would be 850 or more...even if it is a bit of a hybrid.
Could sell pipes and other things to restore it back to a cb and recoup half the cost or more. Ebay would probably yield higher $$ for parts.
What does an ebay 360 in similar looking shape cost?
David- back in the desert SW!

I don't use flea bay as an example of prices. It's a Shark Frenzy to me. My contact out in Cali was the same way. Sell for flea bay prices "then" put the money to restore on top of that. 4K for a CB77 that needed a frame off? We no longer talk. Keep your high priced, non running bikes.

Selling on flea bay is no longer profitable IMO. I avoid it. With that being said the bike needs tires, tubes, mirrors, side covers and exhaust baffles. This does not include the things you "can't see".

A while back in Kingman, AZ a guy had two nice scramblers for sale. $1200 each. Green and Blue. If I buy this one for $750.00 then add $500+ on top of that what do I still have? A CB with CL parts.

Probably going to pass on it also.

And full of bondo and are a complete rip off. Part steel tank, part fiberglass and bondo everywhere, there was a member here who stripped a tail piece and tank back and it was full of bondo, up to an inch thick..... :o

Are you fricken nuts!

I can sit back in my air conditioned house, take naps, watch classic movies from the golden era of Hollywood, make a dagwood sandwhich, use my own bathroom, smoke, drink etc. Besides, my 2008 Toyota Crew Max has 13K on the clock.

I just pay him a Franklin for gas and he buys for me. No looking, no haggle, no worries. No buy, no fee. Even stores them until we get a trailer load. Cheaper don't you think?  ::)

So far I'm losing. He bought 5.

Example: This bike would bring $1800+(fixed) in my Tri-State area. I quit looking around here. Rotted junk with American Picker prices.

Yeah, I'm nuts.  Guess I just miss being out on the road.
Having a "real" job, house, wife and family is not condusive to living the carefree life I once was able to.

Working on the 79 CB750. Needs the seal behind the front sprocket. Seller says the cases have to be split. I don't think they do to replace the seal.

Might work to my advantage. Any thoughts? Might pick this up for $400.
