The 160 looks nice tt.  I hope you don't let it go!

This IS my favorite. Will clean up nicely. The exhaust just has flash rust. At one stop looking at a Dream the seller wanted it. Corky shot a $1700 price. He didn't have the money.  ;) I think it's worth more in the West.

These Baby Hawks seem to be touching 3K as of late. Of course condition is everything. I have no plans but if the money is high enough then a decision will have to be made. I "think" I can flip the CL/CB G model in my area and pay for a mini split AC system in the shop. Even with transportation costs I'm in under 1K per bike  for all three. Of course I still have to get them to Arizona which adds more.

I have been thinking about a road trip to get out of the heat. A little break if you will.

Phoenix hit 104 yesterday and 110 for next few by the forecast. Got a buddy that lives there.
Bullhead City is going to be in the 105 range next few days then 109 by Thursday & Friday.

The 160 is a fun bike, quicker than the CA95 since it has dual carbs and more lift & duration. I think you would like it even more once you have ridden it. It has classy styling similar to the S90.
The CB175 motor had 20 bhp and could comfortable reach and sustain 70 mph, fwiw.
The S90 was a 8 bhp motor by comparison.
YouTube has some entertaining vintage racing of the CB160s. Those guys turned what started as affordable racing into a $$$ class with motor development and even some chassis tuning with suspension upgrades.

In the last week Corky bought 1 CT90, 1 CL360 and 7 Passports. I bought 1 CB350G and 1 CB160.

Sounds like the trailer is parked for a bit but that's what I said last week.

Stay tuned. Still hunting for the CB77. If you Upper West Coast peeps find one please let me know. I can pay for the deal..get it later. (Idaho, Utah, Oregon, Washington)

If you can buy them for cheap, then a nice looking and running example goes for between $1000 and $1500.

Around $600 to $650 for clean ones. He does pretty well actually. These smaller Hondas are sleepers today. Everybody wants the larger models.

We're buying the smalls.

Greggo<<<< I'm keeping the CB160. Just bought side covers, placed an order from two places. 16.5 hp..yeah!

Rivetrestorations.com has 3 articles from back in the day on the cb160. It is in their doc folder.
Shane is a pretty cool guy. He lives in the NE and is an active VJMC member.

Congrats on the great deal on those side covers.

Worth anything?

Clearly the owner thinks it is worth far more than others do...
would imagine they won't be fetching that one as it has negative margin for the going rate according to tt.

Was 20 mi north of Ann Arbor at Strawberry Lake, beautiful place and COOL!  My buddy bought a cottage right on the lake.
Was a quick 3 day trip and was boating for two, and I helped him find a '73 Mustang Convertable, he's a former SOHC owner.
Think its only an hour from Kzoo, will contact you next time.

Trust me, you wouldn't want it for free. Sad, as it has great automotive history.

Detroit at one time was one of the best off, wealthiest cities in the US and Michigan was doing quite well then also. Now look, maybe a harbinger of things to come up here in the rust belt. Sorry for the hijack Toy.

No worries.

It was the fourth largest city in the US. Now, parcels of land in certain areas can't be sold for one dollar. We all know what led to it's demise but we have to be PC here. Right?
