And very profitable. Listed for $599. Buy for $500 or less. Add time/fuel of $100. Sell all day this Winter when the snowbirds are in town for $1500. My last build sold in 4 hours.

No brainer.

Well, at least they aren't asking $900 for a $150-200 bike.

Steve, the ice cream trailer would need to be more vintage looking with a spoked wheel and flared end of the fender and be on a Dream 305...  Needs a popup umbrella on one or two corners when you stop for a while and are setup.  Not sure how you would keep them frozen unless they have a portable generator/freezer.

Need one of those Air Force flight line long jackets with the AC pack that has the cooling coils through the body and arms...

Well look at this. 1967 David?

In the second picture look at the top triple clamp. I don't remember the slit in the clamp. (next to the stem nut)

OK, two bikes are in the crosshairs.

The S90 can be bought for $1500.00. Original but in need of work. No worries there. Small bikes are fun. Four hours away plus time/fuel costs.

The second bike is a spotless 1972 CB 450. Really nice. Seller is making pickup difficult as far as time frame. 6+ hours away. $2800.00 plus time/fuel costs.

Going to kick this a bit.  Don't want to get into another fenders thread here. 450 would be nice but I already have a 750. Not sure I really need another bike in this cc area. The S90 was my first motorcycle so it holds a special place. For resale value the 450 wins however I don't want to sell either one. Gets down to what I want to spend I suppose.

Thinking on it for today.

Tt, from serial it is in the range of other 1968 S90 bikes. The tag doesn't show the year, just harness part number.
personally I think $1500 is high given the work/parts it needs. At least you are dealing with the same cloud silver paint for those silver painted parts. The repro one piece exhausts are available with the 90 degree header pipes, the 45 degree pipes used on the earlier bikes are not. The air filter box parts are hard to find so it is good the bike is complete.

I don't have photos of my S90 (CS90) to share but the signal attachment appears to be different.
I will go take some pictures tomorrow...

The S90 has more speed than the CT90 as the gearing and the cam provide more top end power and speed.
The Michellin Gazelles or the IRC Nseries  have a good modern rubber alternatives.
The BT39SS was used on the Dream 50 race bikes they came out with several years ago. There are street legal versions out there and Takagawa made a 89cc upgrade for the bike making it much more potent. One is on Ebay out of Florida.

S90 off table. Dents in tank and chrome cover. Small dents in fenders.

Search continues. CB450 in air. Can't do 3 hour time frames then drive all night home. No more nights of any kind for me.  :P

NR53 in 2.50x18  or in  2.75x18 in either NR53 or Gazelle M62
A 3.00x18 is really too big and just robs power.
American MotoTire carries them for about $29 a tire.

Maybe in the year 2013 they might be seen as toys. But back in the day and long before ATV's came on the market these CT90's were used by many outdoors men and hunters. Not the best looking bike for sure but the step-thru frame made it easy getting on and off. Luggage rack on back and a automatic 8 speed trans. 4 speeds for street and flip a lever if I remember and 4 trail gears for the woods. In the lowest gear if you could manage to hang on to it it would take you up the side of a wall. A toy, I don't think so ;)

The guys down at the now closed Honda dealer said they use to sell three to four a week. Still sell like hotcakes here.

Like I said earlier. It's not me! It's the seller! DOH!

After 1730 hrs. means all night on the road back home. Don't play that. Sure, I can get a room. Ever price a Hotel room in San Diego for 2 adults? $200 plus.

Should just have a member go get it and ride it home. I'll worry about it later.
