Wow! Time to get out of Dodge! Well, Omaha anyway.

Corky picked up a few items off of CL. Like a set of Dream covers for 10 bucks!  :o

Seller was eyeing out the CB160 and said "is this for sale?" "Man, that's clean!"

Reply? Nope.   8)

Oh, I pay a percentage on the cost of bikes. It is fuel/food and time. He likes being on the road. I like staying home and searching for buys.  ;)

He found these and called me. I looked. Told him "what are you waiting for?" In the trailer in two days. I think it was 900+ miles one way.

I was hoping for some pictures but he is on the road. Heading to Rapid City, SD.

Stay tuned. There is still room on the trailer.  ;D

I received some pictures from Corky today so thought you peeps might like to take a look.

I'll do the 1969 CB160 first. The bike has not been washed or waxed but you can see the overall condition. It was not a neglected motorcycle so good on the seller.  8)

Left side...

Right side...

And a few random pics...

Hard to believe the mileage..

Original seat...

And a spotless fuel tank.

Very happy with this purchase. I doubt it makes it to Arizona.  ;D People are already making offers.  ;)

Next is the 1973 CB350G. Corky said the paint on this was perfect. Good on the seller for giving it some love over the years. What I really like is the color. Iris Purple.  8)

Left side...

Right side...

Super nice!

And some random shots...

And the mileage? Unbelievable!

Again, very happy with this purchase. I don't think this will make it to Arizona.  :D ;)

I just picked up a barn CB450. 5k miles. $400.

Fenders, the saying/mantra on the SOHC/4 forum is, "Pictures or it didn't happen."
Congrats on the find, now you have two cb450s to restore, or now have a parts bike.

I think they are both great bikes, but I like the cb160 a lot more. The 350 and 360 have too much vibration at speed to suit me. That irritates my carpal tunnel which has not been bothering me for the past few years (luckily, thank God.)

Thanks! Say, did you ever buy the Cloud Silver paint for the fenders? The CB160 will need fenders painted as well as the side covers. (If I ever find any)

I had 1974 CB360 I bought brand new in 74 Rafster. Road it back and forth to High School and around town, great bike for me at the time. The vibration was never a issue for me, but I was only 17 at the time and very little bothered me. If I had one now almost 40 years later it might be a problem.

I have been thinking on the 1975 CL360. Could flip it for a nice little profit.

I'm trying to get the cost per bike down so I'll talk with Corky today. He already has one. The CB with the CL tank. This one has a dent in the tank the other does not. Do a swap, resale the CL and the 350G.

Horse trading again!
