Why do you want the CB900?  It's so similar to your K7, you'll get bored and not ride it.

What year is your CBX?

Why not? I'm bored with all of them except the CBX and CB160.

CBX is a 1982.

CB900 is not very collectible, IMO. Sell me that CB350 is you are bored with it!

The CB350 in fact might go up for sale. It won't be cheap.

Looks good in silver.   Might be a better bike than the 750F that you always wanted.
There are none on ebay right now. Have you located one? [other than the $2500 one]

One just popped up but have a line on two more odd balls. CB125S and a 68 CL90.

CL90 is interesting but a S90 is more fun I think...but if you don't mind riding a bit in the desert the CL90 is going to have better gearing for some light hills.

Nice thing about the smaller slower bikes is the ability to look around a little more and enjoy the scenery when you don't have traffic behind you and you are in the country...  Stopping and "smelling the roses" is easier.
Being on a bike is totally different than a cage but I'm preaching to the choir.  I've always been a gforce junky in the car and on the bike and will small bikes you can have fun just like a big bike, just slower speeds doing it.

It's easy. Put a S90 rear sprocket on the CL90. Three (3) teeth difference.

Depends...what is your goal? What do you want now?  Looks fast can be enough sometimes, being fast...just not a lot of places to safely use what is on tap. I can't afford tickets, so form and function have to have a balance for me and fast isn't one of my top priorities.

Do you like this one?

Looks.  We're not buying any of these bikes for their speed.  Like you said, if you wanted speed, you'd buy another 'busa

'78 or '79 GL1000? Go for it, you won't be sorry. Every bit as smooth as your CBX without the super complex engine.

Oh yeah, the seat goes! Needs front turns, valve cover gaskets and carburetor work. Not sure about the rims. Either dirt or refinish. I'm sure a lot more.

65K on the clock. Bought new by his Grandfather with all service records. I have to get into it cheap as $375.00 in shipping.

Will see. It is the right color for a Wang.
