cb400f headlamp size

Please can anyone tell me the size of the standard headlamp on a cb400f. i have purchased a replacement replica bucket which measures 7and a quarter inches diameter but the rim I have is only 7 inches (both a the widest point) - one must be wrong but which one?

400f has an odd size,can't remember it offhand, something like 6-1/4"?

Please can anyone confirm as the headlamp bucket/shell was supplied by a honda specialist as a replacement for the original.

I believe the lamp is 5 and 3/4 inches. The bucket is 7"

My headlight is 6.5 inches. A US-style sealed beam of the same size also came with my box of bits.

ID of the rim is 7".

I have a extra 77 trim ring, give me 10 to measure it and I'll post back.

On the back side (measuring where it seats to the headlight pot) 7+3/8th total width and has a lip to seat inside of the pot @7+1/8 th.

Thanks everyone - looks like the bucket/shell is correct so now have to find rim/trim and light.
