rebuilding forks, parts advice?

Hi once more,

I will be assembling my forks this weekend and want to know if i can use copper washers in place of number 20 and 21 on the fiche below?

Yes.  Thats what they are.  Just make sure they are the same size obviously.

i was a little unsure as they are called "special" on the parts list. I bought several different copper washers when i bought my SS bolts etc. Copper aint cheap! :o

Yes, copper is what makes them "special" They will be delivered to you on a short bus.

i just bought every o-ring that does not come in the vesrah gasket set for my bike. I got an excel doc from here somewhere with a list f seal, o-rings and bearings. i got all the seal for under (converted currency from Rand to) $5. It was like 20 off o-rings. the seals are a little more tricky to source but i have managed to get 90% of them. cost is approx $ 25. i dont know why more of us DIY'ers dont source our own o-rings, seals and bearings.... ???
