Snapped my clutch cable coming around a corner today..Is there anything I should avoid when installing the new cable? And am I going to have to re-adjust with the nut adjuster on the bottom of the cover as for I just had the clutch adjusted at my local shop?Any info or steps on the install would be much appreciated for  Ive never changed one before.I suppose I should buy a repair manual but you guys are better than that...Also how are the motion pro cables?Hopefully good I ordered 1...

You migh be able to find a manual to download here in the FAQ section but yes it should be a relatively easy fix, as for adjusting it you might be fine, try it and find out

It is pretty simple. I used Honda cables and they are fine. Just with the routing.

No you generally do not need to readjust the clutch under the cover.

Install the new cable and adjust it properly.

What you do need to do is lube the cable internally before you install it.

Pro motion for example makes a cheap inexpensive cable lubrication tool.

I lube my cables about once a year. I can't remember the last one that broke.

Here is one on Ozzie ebay. I'm sure there will be one where you are at........

Dd you lube inside the lever ? The bending motion if its dry up there, breaks the cable..
