Euro bars or superbike

I've read up on other posts but still undecided, my question is for those who have had both euro bars and super bike bars. Which did you like better and why? I've got drag bars on my bike now and definitely tired of leaning over, I'm only 5'9" with average length arms. I tried measuring but can't make up my mind

I would definitely love to hear some input on this myself as well. I also have drag bars and was thinking about superbike bars for my 550.

I went from stock to clubman, to drag, to superbike. I wish I never spent the money on drag or clubman. I like looks and they are really comfy. I'm 6'01" with long arms.

Superbike! I have put them on every bike. Bought euro one time to see how I would like and I did not....

superbike bars are barely any higher than drags but have more pullback than drags so you won't be as leant forward.  Euros are gonna be about halfway between drag bars and U.S. market stockers... ???

After much testing and swapping, I found the ergo "euro" bend to be most comfortable and yet still "sporty" with stick pegs.  They are a bit tall if you have high mount rear sets.   For that the flat bars or clubmans might be better.

One other variation online is rubbing clubmans with a set if short riser blocks (Carpy sells em at cb750cafe.com) for example.  With those you get the cafe "look" without the pain

Oh and I  am 5'8

I was thinking about going from super bike to drag, looks like that would be a bad idea. :P

I have cut down Euro's on my 550K1.  You cant cut them down and run stock speedo and tack with a stock master cylinder but I like them.  I am 6'3 and can ride upright with my elbow resting on one knee and hand on the throttle with stock pegs.  I would have posted a pic but I guess the post is full and it wont let me.

I loved superbike bars on my 350f! It came with drag bars! I put a set on my friends 77 750f and they are nice to wheel around on! If I find a project bike not stock that's the way I would go!

Drag bars with extensions to give some back relief had me interested for a while, but I found a deal on Renthal low street bars, and will give them a try on one of my 550s. I'm still fixated on fitting a solo saddle to one of the bikes, and getting that to work with stock foot controls and still be comfortable is the issue to be sorted out.

i've had both...i'm a little over 5'9", and honestly, superbike bars are a little too low for long distance with the stock foot peg position. they force me to curve my back in a weird way, and i wish that my pegs were about three inches back (i'm workin' on it). even though my euros are more comfortable, i still have the superbike onbars because for shorter blasts they give a sportier vibe feel for cornering, and they look cool.

If you are leaning toward superbike bars, you might as well track down some 400f bars. They are pretty close to superbike bars and they are pre-drilled for running wires. The 400f bars are slightly more narrow than most replacement bars - I think 400f bars are around 24" wide while most replacements and other bars are around 29". I have them on my 500. I don't consider them the perfect bar for me, but the neatness of running wires was a huge plus. I think my ideal bar would be the UK spec 500 bars which are lower than US stock but not quite as low and narrow as 400f bars, but other than pricey reproductions I can't find any. Vintage 400f bars from another forum member here was a great solution. You can also still order them new: PN 53100-377-000.

If wires are not a big concern, I think Renthal makes good bars and they have several different rise options.
