Topic: Air Box Installation

I am in the process of installing the airbox on my 79 CB650. I have some question as to the routing of the tubes and lines to the breather, air box, carburetors, and valve cover.  I am hoping to re-install the unit as there have been pods installed and the carburetors are running erratically. I am posting (or at least going to try and post) some pics of the parts that are in question. If anyone has any answers as to routing I'd appreciate some feedback.


#3 & 4 Carbs The T connection was loose and wondering was problems this would have caused.

The tubes coming off of the same T connection on both sets of carbs, and wondering where these were routed to originally.

Valve cover, I'm thinking this routes to the airbox in some way and need to know where.

This nipple on the top of the airbox and wondering what it is used for.

This tube comes out of the lower portion of the breather and wondering where it is routed to. Also this hose is pre-formed and brittle, and broke on one end. Should I contact someplace like Z1 for a replacement or can I use something from a parts store? Also in the lower corner of this same picture is nipple that I am wondering what should be connected to it.
